I looked at the calendar today and it told me that it’s still spring. The calendar is wrong, though. Summer is definitely here.How do I know?
Laundry drying in the breeze:
Friends sharing a cool drink:
Shaved legs:
Puffy clouds dancing across the sky:
The doggy pool is in full operation:
Rainbow after an afternoon storm:
Bare feet:
Dogs digging holes:
And the dirty paws to prove it:
The furry kids enjoying the day:
Max….
Sam…
Kishka….
I picked this up on Craig’s List for $15:
As expected, no one has used it yet, but for $15, it’s worth it as outside toy storage.
A pair of socks is finished!
What: Plum socks
Yarn: KnitPicks Parade in Plum
Needles: 2
Pattern: Basic cuff down in stockinette stitch. 58 stitches, with heel on 29.
Lesson Learned: I lengthened the heel by adding more knit rows between decreases. Also, don’t decrease so much, or the heel gets pointy!
Destination: My feet!!
The next pair of socks is halfway done:

Great Socks Kathy. My fur kid loves digging holes two, actually he loves making holes then covering them back up. :)

oh my - all of my favorite summer things all in one place! (sheets dried in the sun is something I look forward to every.single.year!)
The dogs are adorable (as usual) and I love the sleeping on scooby picture.
(the socks look great - I love the yarn too, it wears like iron!)
